Listed package prices from the Bright Horizon Solar catalog, as of November 5, 2026, including installation labor, standard materials and 12% VAT. Prices and equipment may change. "kW" is the common name for each size; the kWp figure is the rated capacity of the panels. Commercial and Huawei systems are quoted on request.
3 kW to 20 kW Hybrid Solar Prices, Size by Size
Most people search by inverter or system size, so here is what each common size looks like on our list. The energy figures use the same conservative planning formula as our package finder, about 82 kWh per kWp a month. They are planning figures, not a savings promise.
3 kW and 4 kW hybrid solar system price
Our two smallest sizes are 2.5 kW (2.48 kWp, ₱270,000 to ₱278,000) and 3.7 kW (3.72 kWp, ₱306,000 to ₱323,000). Both use the Horizon Access collection with a 100 Ah battery. They suit smaller loads, and the price per kWp looks high because the battery is shared across fewer panels.
5 kW hybrid solar system price
Listed at ₱444,000 to ₱504,000 across 7 options, using 8 panels (4.96–5.04 kWp) and a 6 kW hybrid inverter. The lowest listed option is Horizon Reserve with a Sungrow 200 Ah battery. The highest is Horizon Power with a Dyness PowerBrick SC 314 Ah (IP20) battery. On our planning formula this size makes about 408 kWh a month, worth roughly ₱6,100 at the October 2026 Meralco rate.
6 kW hybrid solar system price
Listed at ₱419,000 to ₱586,000 across 9 options, using 10 panels (6.20–6.30 kWp) and a 6 kW hybrid inverter. The lowest listed option is Horizon Core with a Dyness DL5.0F 100 Ah (IP20) battery. The highest is Horizon Estate with a GoodWe 314 Ah battery. On our planning formula this size makes about 510 kWh a month, worth roughly ₱7,700 at the October 2026 Meralco rate.
8 kW hybrid solar system price
Listed at ₱515,000 to ₱695,000 across 9 options, using 13 panels (8.06–8.19 kWp) and a 8 kW hybrid inverter. The lowest listed option is Horizon Core with a Dyness DL5.0F 100 Ah (IP20) battery. The highest is Horizon Estate with a GoodWe 314 Ah battery. On our planning formula this size makes about 663 kWh a month, worth roughly ₱10,000 at the October 2026 Meralco rate.
10 kW hybrid solar system price
Listed at ₱582,000 to ₱762,000 across 9 options, using 16 panels (9.92–10.08 kWp) and a 8 kW hybrid inverter. The lowest listed option is Horizon Core with a Dyness DL5.0F 100 Ah (IP20) battery. The highest is Horizon Estate with a GoodWe 314 Ah battery. On our planning formula this size makes about 816 kWh a month, worth roughly ₱12,300 at the October 2026 Meralco rate.
12 kW hybrid solar system price
Listed at ₱715,000 to ₱872,000 across 9 options, using 20 panels (12.40–12.60 kWp) and a 10 kW hybrid inverter. The lowest listed option is Horizon Core with a Dyness DL5.0F 100 Ah (IP20) battery. The highest is Horizon Estate with a GoodWe 314 Ah battery. On our planning formula this size makes about 1,020 kWh a month, worth roughly ₱15,400 at the October 2026 Meralco rate.
15 kW hybrid solar system price
Listed at ₱819,000 to ₱975,000 across 9 options, using 24 panels (14.88–15.12 kWp) and a 12 kW hybrid inverter. The lowest listed option is Horizon Core with a Dyness DL5.0F 100 Ah (IP20) battery. The highest is Horizon Estate with a GoodWe 314 Ah battery. On our planning formula this size makes about 1,224 kWh a month, worth roughly ₱18,400 at the October 2026 Meralco rate.
20 kW hybrid solar system price
Listed at ₱1,085,000 to ₱1,224,000 across 4 options, using 32 panels (19.84–20.16 kWp) and a 18 kW hybrid inverter. The lowest listed option is Horizon Core with a Dyness DL5.0F 100 Ah (IP20) battery. The highest is Horizon Signature with a LVTOPSUN G4 314 Ah (IP65) battery. On our planning formula this size makes about 1,632 kWh a month, worth roughly ₱24,600 at the October 2026 Meralco rate.
These figures compare one energy number with one electricity rate. They do not account for how much solar you use directly, your battery use, shading, or the fixed charges on your bill. The zero electricity bill guide explains why a bill rarely reaches ₱0.
Why Two 10 kW Quotes Can Be ₱180,000 Apart
On our own list, the same 16-panel size runs from ₱582,000 to ₱762,000. Here is what changes between those two packages:
The same logic explains most gaps between installers. Before you decide one quote is overpriced or another is a bargain, check these items:
Usually the largest swing. Amp-hours alone do not tell you the energy stored: multiply by voltage. At 51.2 V, a 100 Ah battery holds about 5.1 kWh and a 314 Ah battery about 16 kWh. Ask for usable kWh in writing.
Hybrid inverters differ in rating, backup output and battery compatibility. A 5 kWp array may sit on a 6 kW inverter, so "5 kW" can describe different things in different quotes.
Check the brand, model, wattage and quantity. A quote that only says "solar panels" cannot be compared with one that names them.
Mounting, wiring, protection devices, testing and commissioning should be listed. If a line is missing, ask whether it is excluded.
Roof type, wiring distance, panel board condition and any extra structural work can change the final price. This is why a site assessment comes before the final figure.
Permits, signed plans and Net Metering filing may be included, separate or left to you. Ask which, because each one costs time or money.
A solar site assessment is what turns a listed price into a final one.
How to Compare Solar Quotes Using Price per kWp
Divide the total price by the system's kWp to compare offers of different sizes. On our list, the lowest price per kWp falls from about ₱108,871 at 2.5 kW to about ₱52,754 at 21 kW, because the battery and inverter are shared across more panels.
Only compare like with like. One Philippine installer published a planning range of ₱50,000 to ₱70,000 per kWp for grid-tied systems without batteries in September 2026. A hybrid quote includes a battery, so it will not line up with that range unless you take the battery cost out first. That figure is one company's estimate, not an official benchmark.
Bright Horizon Solar also designs grid-tied and off-grid systems, quoted after assessment. If your main goal is cutting daytime charges and you do not need backup, ask us to compare grid-tied with hybrid solar for your property.
Which Hybrid Solar Size Fits Your Electric Bill?
This table turns a monthly bill into a starting size, using the October 2026 Meralco overall rate of ₱15.0615 per kWh and our package finder's planning formula. It assumes solar covers all of your energy use, which is not always the right goal.
| Monthly bill | About | Starting size | Nearest listed package |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₱5,000 | 332 kWh | 4.1 kWp | 3.7 kW, from ₱306,000 |
| ₱8,000 | 531 kWh | 6.5 kWp | 6 kW, from ₱419,000 |
| ₱10,000 | 664 kWh | 8.1 kWp | 8 kW, from ₱515,000 |
| ₱15,000 | 996 kWh | 12.2 kWp | 12.5 kW, from ₱715,000 |
| ₱20,000 | 1,328 kWh | 16.3 kWp | 16 kW, from ₱918,000 |
| ₱30,000 | 1,992 kWh | 24.4 kWp | Larger than our listed sizes; request a design |
Meralco's rate changes every month, and it reflects a typical household, so use the rate on your own bill. A refund averaging ₱0.1733 per kWh for residential customers was also set to start with November 2026 billing. Starting sizes are for planning only.
Roof space, shading, daytime use and backup needs can move the right answer up or down. The solar cost and sizing guide explains how, and the package finder on our homepage does this calculation with your own bill and rate.
What to Check in a Solar Quote Before Comparing Prices
A low figure is only useful if you know what it covers. A clear quotation should answer all of these:
Get these in writing:
- Panel brand, model, wattage and quantity
- Inverter brand, model and kW rating
- Battery model and usable kWh
- Mounting, wiring and protection devices
- Installation, testing and commissioning
- Electrical permit and signed plans
- Net Metering: who files, and who pays the fees
- Product and workmanship warranties
- Payment schedule and total amount payable
- Anything excluded or priced after the site visit
For the full pre-installation list, see the solar installation checklist.
How to Choose a Solar Installer in the Philippines
There is no official ranking of the best solar installers, and many "best installer" pages are written by the installers themselves. These checks tell you more than a list will, and you can use them on us as well.
- They visit before they finalize the priceA final price without checking your roof, panel board and shading is a guess. Expect the design to be confirmed after a site assessment.
- They name the equipmentExact models let you check datasheets and warranties yourself, and make quotes comparable.
- They can explain the permit pathAsk who prepares the electrical plan and who signs it. The DOE-linked Philippine solar guidebook lists a plan signed by a Professional Electrical Engineer among the LGU electrical permit documents, and Meralco's process requires a Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection from your LGU.
- They show their registration and licensesAsk for the business registration and any contractor license the company holds, including PCAB where it applies, and confirm the details with the issuing agency.
- They show real workLook for completed projects with named sizes and locations, and read reviews on a platform the company does not control.
- They put warranties in writingAsk for product, performance and workmanship terms separately, and find out who handles a claim.
- They have a way to reach them afterwardsAsk how to report a problem and who responds. A solar system runs for years, so after-sales matters as much as installation.
Whoever you choose, match each payment to something delivered, such as equipment on site, a finished installation or commissioning, and read the full agreement before paying.
Net Metering: The Costs and Limits to Ask About
If you plan to export excess solar energy, your installer should explain these points before you commit to a size:
- Size limit: Net Metering covers renewable energy systems up to 100 kW, according to reporting on the ERC's amended rules (Resolution No. 15, Series of 2025).
- Your transformer matters: Meralco's guide shows an indicative 10 kW hosting capacity on a 25 kVA transformer and 38 kW on a 100 kVA transformer, and says its assessment can approve a lower capacity. This matters most for larger home systems.
- Fees: Meralco lists a ₱1,500 ERC Certificate of Compliance application fee, plus a meter-cost difference of up to ₱3,000 for residential customers where applicable.
- Credits: The amended rules allow credits to be banked and rolled over, and transferred when a property changes owner, subject to conditions.
Fees and steps were checked on Meralco's site on November 5, 2026. Other utilities may differ. If you prefer not to export, compare the options in Net Metering vs zero export, or read about our Net Metering assistance.
Paying Monthly: 36 Months at 0% Interest
Selected listed packages show a 36-month, 0% interest option, where the 36 payments add up to the package price, subject to financing approval. That puts the listed 5 kW packages from ₱12,333.33 a month and the 10 kW packages from ₱16,166.67 a month. Your quotation confirms any down payment or fees. You can also pay the package price outright.
A monthly payment is separate from your electric bill, and both may continue during the payment period. The solar installment guide works through the math, and the solar ROI guide explains how to estimate payback.

How much is a 10 kW hybrid solar system with battery?
Our listed 10 kW options (9.92–10.08 kWp, 16 panels) cost ₱582,000 to ₱762,000. Most of that spread comes from the battery and inverter you choose.
Does the listed price include installation?
Yes. Our listed hybrid package prices include installation labor, standard materials and 12% VAT. Your official quotation confirms site-specific work, permits and Net Metering assistance, so check those lines before you sign.
Why does hybrid solar cost more than grid-tied solar?
A hybrid system adds a battery and a hybrid inverter. One installer publishes a planning range of ₱50,000 to ₱70,000 per kWp for grid-tied systems without batteries. Bright Horizon Solar quotes grid-tied systems after assessment rather than listing a price.
Can I pay for a hybrid solar system monthly?
Selected packages show a 36-month, 0% interest option, from ₱7,500.00 a month. It is subject to financing approval, and your quotation confirms any down payment or fees.
Is the solar assessment free?
The initial assessment is free. When a site visit is needed after screening, a ₱5,000 reservation fee may apply and is deductible from the installation.
Who is the best solar installer in the Philippines?
There is no official ranking, and many 'best installer' claims are marketing. Judge each installer on named equipment, an itemized quotation, a site visit before the final price, signed electrical plans, written warranties and an after-sales process you can actually use.
Can Net Metering be approved for any system size?
Not always. The program covers systems up to 100 kW, and Meralco's own guide shows that capacity also depends on your transformer: its indicative figure for a 25 kVA transformer is 10 kW. Meralco can approve a lower capacity after its assessment.
Is a hybrid solar system worth the price?
It depends on your bill, how much solar you use directly and how much backup matters to you. Energy think tank Ember estimated in 2026 that residential rooftop solar payback fell to 3.1 years, but that is a national estimate, not a figure for your home or for battery systems. We do not promise a payback period.
